A middle-age Sicilian man lives his life waiting for something to happen, until he picks up a stranger on the street. The stranger starts living the same life as the man and encounters Emma, a young woman living in the house. Together they embark on a nostalgic journey that never happened, like in a dream, and will end their stories alone: one stays and the other leaves.
