It has been two years since Salmo has been on a stage to perform because of the pandemic. The opportunity to return to live singing was the Water World Music Festival. A challenge made easier, or perhaps more difficult, because the concert was held in Cala Dei Sardi, the place where Salmo was born and raised. The documentary follows the Sardinian artist's journey to be ready for the new date with his fans and the preparation of a concert that on the surface seems impossible because no one has ever sung at sea. A journey into Salmo's world that shows besides the artist, who Maurizio is. The importance of his closest collaborators: such as his brother Seba who bet on this event or the trusted and experienced stage manager Alessio who attempts the feat of putting on a concert that has never succeeded to anyone before. But also his relationship with his family, his lifelong friends, his new friends, and the places where he was born and formed what today is for everyone Salmo.
