Elia is a very famous Genoese fisherman. He lives with and from fishing. It is nighttime and Christian Olcese, Gloria Aura Bortolini, and Edoardo Nervi are at sea with Elia to attend a night of anchovy fishing. The fisherman talks about the problems that plague his work: the environmental crisis is a problem, some species of fish have disappeared from the seas. Elijah is inside his conscientious stream, immortalized by Olcese's poem, read by Francesco Patanè's narrative voice. Gloria Aura Bortolini and Christian Olcese, the two hosts of the documentary, once off the fishing boat accompany the viewer to discover the world of sustainability, interviewing experts in the scientific field (biologists, scientists, activists).
