Naples told as a hotel in whose rooms stories are set that show its souls, its vices and its virtues. The film is made up of seven episodes, stories experienced in different moments of our present. A wedding lunch, a waitress, a scared man talking to himself, a lawyer questioning and instructing a witness for who knows what trial, a father and a daughter, a couple of teenagers, a funeral lunch. Incomplete lives, stories into which we are catapulted without warning, without a real beginning, as fragmentary as the city they inhabit. Suspensions that have the flavor of incompleteness and secrecy, with a door always open to the afterlife and mystery, a metaphysical and symbolic narrative to tell the great hotel of souls that is Naples.
