The story of two teenage boys with totally different cultures, personalities and histories who find themselves together, alone, sharing a small fishing boat in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Tonino, an Apulian, wants to earn the respect of his family, especially his father, while Ima, an African, tries to arrive safely in Italy. Amid distrust, fear, fatigue, hunger, dreams, soccer, tears and hallucinations they soon realize that the only way to survive is to put aside their differences and unite for who they are: two boys that wants to go home.
