Romeo is an unhinged young scion who at yet another quarrel with his family is kicked out of the house by his father. Furious at the situation he joins his beloved Juliet and her son in Venice on the island where she lives. Together they will try to live out their impossible love until, overwhelmed by worry, Romeo follows his best friend to the apparent solution: a robbery. But as in all tragedies something will go wrong, and what seemed like the path of easy salvation will become the ultimate doom.
