Cecilia (Valentina Lodovini), determined and passionate, is a mother of two with three failed relationships behind her. When faced with a sudden crisis, she turns to her exes for help: Christophe (Valerio Mastandrea), her first great love and father of her oldest daughter, is a theater director who lives in the memory of his glorious career. Guido (Leonardo Lidi), father of the second child, is a former promising manager who has decided to turn his life around by becoming a delivery rider. And finally Tony (Michele Riondino), a self-proclaimed music manager and the only one who actually married her, only to leave her for someone else.
This strange and dysfunctional “expanded” family finds itself living under the same roof, attempting an unlikely plan to save the situation, from which everyone tries to take their own advantage at the expense of others, despite the fact that they still love each other.
