Leo is twenty-six years old and living a life in black and white. His days always start at 6:06, filled with miserable jobs and an endless race to secure his next fix. Drugs aren’t just an addiction; they’re a mental loop that keeps him trapped in an eternal déjà vu. Every attempt to change, to escape, always brings him back to the same point: the beginning.
Then comes Jo-Jo. Twenty, tough, enigmatic, she speaks only French and drives a caravan like it’s the only thing keeping her alive. Jo-Jo isn’t an easy salvation, she’s not a heroine, but she’s the chaos Leo needs to break the pattern. She has her own demons: a recent loss, an emptiness she carries like heavy baggage. Yet, somehow, Jo-Jo can see through the cracks in Leo.
ENGLISH: Together, they embark on a road trip to Portugal, through dusty roads and dreamlike worlds where their souls finally meet and speak the same language. But this isn’t a straightforward redemption story. Leo must confront his personal hell, the addiction that’s consuming him. Jo-Jo, on the other hand, always seems just one step away from vanishing, as if she’s there only to show him the way before disappearing.
It’s a race toward something that might save them—or destroy them.
“6:06” is a journey, a race, a physical and mental escape, where love isn’t a solution but a new language, a weapon to fight pain and addiction.

DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
«6:06» is a visceral and deeply personal film, rooted in the experiences and scars of its creator, exploring the boundary between salvation and self-destruction. The director works with non-professional and «street» actors to bring authenticity and rawness to the screen. The protagonists, Leo (Davide Valle) and Jo-Jo (George Li Tourniaire), embody vulnerability and chaos: Leo represents emotional emptiness, while Jo-Jo is a destabilizing but non-redemptive force.
The cinematography, crafted by Tommaso Lusena, uses unstable lighting and exaggerated color tones to emphasize alienation and dependency.
«6:06» is a raw and striking journey that offers no redemption but invites the viewer to confront the pain and chaos of life, revealing how beauty can emerge even from the deepest cracks.
