“Falcon” will retrace the key moments of Marchionne’s story: from his early managerial career to Fiat’s turnaround, from managing the Chrysler crisis to the creation of FCA, through the challenges that accompanied one of the most complex industrial transformations in the global automotive sector.
At the heart of the story will not only be the manager who led a radical transformation of the automotive industry, but also the man behind the role: his insights, difficult decisions, contradictions, and his relationship with an economic and institutional environment that often debated his choices and vision.

DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
I like the idea of telling the story of an Italian who challenges two giants in America, GM and Chrysler, and wins. Upon returning home, he is met with hostility by some Italian institutions from the left, centre and right. In the end, one might say that he was a ‘tragic winner’.
