Since the invisible presence of Faceless began to dwell in the thin line between the unconscious and subconscious, people's pangs of conscience have intensified. Faceless forces them to delve deep within, leaving them prey to feelings of guilt. Brother, Sister, and Stepsisters decide to confront him and realize that to make his presence visible, they must mold him in their own image and likeness with the help of Play-Doh. All together, against that indecipherable unease that governs the conscious surface of the world.
DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
Essentially a mockumentary, "Faceless" is perhaps the first documentary film in the horror, spiritual, and ecological genres. Starting with a basic American genre, it branches out into other tones and themes. It draws inspiration partly from the precepts contained in James Hillman's "The Soul's Code." An immersive and profound experience that also draws in part from BrainArt.
