A film compilation which combines footage shot at different times by Davide Ferrario.
The video is inspired by the Pasolini of La Rabbia (1963), who made a protest film from news-reel sequences unearthed from the 90,000 metres of film about the Cold War.
La rabbia is immediately obvious as a protest-film, Ferrario himself described it as a controversial and strongly ideological essay on the events of the past decade. It was shot as a documentary and includes dramatic images ranging from pornography to Right Wing demonstrations to the periphery of Rome and Turin and Bosnia, all shot by Ferrario. "Ferrario’s rage" is the rage of a generation which, twenty years later, accepts the idea that the Left Wing intellectual had foreseen the results of the events and changes in Italy that he lived through.
