A pioneer of feminist art since the early 1970s, Judy Chicago is celebrated as one of the most influential artists of our time. Nadya Tolokonnikova, co-founder of the Russian dissident group Pussy Riot, is a punk musician and feminist activist. In 2012, she was sentenced to two years in prison for participating in a performance protesting Putin’s regime. Judy and Nadya have joined forces to inspire people to imagine a different, more humane world. What if Women Ruled the World? chronicles their first artistic collaboration.
