Chiara dreams of becoming a movie star. That morning, she faces an important part-on-part audition. After several failed directions and interpretations in front of the camera, the director asks her to play the lines of the script once again, but this time looking at him.

In a bare room, Chiara, a young actress, fights a silent battle. Her gaze wanders aimlessly, trying to bring to life a character that doesn't belong to her: a girl in love. But she gets lost in the void. The unforgiving camera captures her vulnerability, her internal struggle between being and appearing. The love that blooms on set is nothing more than a fragile illusion, that fades like words written on a blank page, leaving behind only the bitter realization of her reality.
