Synopsis: The life of Karlygash and Ilyas, a young married couple living in a remote settlement in the Kazakh steppe, changes dramatically with the appearance of the French traveler Louis in it. The relationship between the characters is confused, forming a love polygon, in which Ilyas' first love also participates. Nevertheless, each of the heroes gains freedom by being able to understand their true feelings.
