It’s the beginning of the year he’ll pass in a rescue center with another wolf pup, rescued just a few days after, until their return to the woods.
Are they aware of what we are trying to do for them? How they perceive time, captivity and eventually their return to the woods? Do they call it freedom? Does this concept exist for them? Or it’s just our speculation?
Connection follows the emotional journeys of the two wolves, looking for a deeply empathic insight into their lives, working to overcome old patterns about nature films and our perception of rescuing animals. There is no commentary leading us, no explanation of what’s going on and the humans become just gestures in the background.
