The documentary makes use of a series of interviews between insiders, experts and artists who help us to draw an exhaustive picture of this musical genre, whose most successful songs are still played and danced to today as well as being included in the soundtrack of films and commercials. The speeches are interspersed with clips with music inspired by Italo-disco and repertoire contribution. The work is however also the pretext to draw a picture of the The eighties (the period in which Italo-disco was most widespread) evoking historical events, cultural trends, fashions, tics and manias.
