The amusement park carries an ambivalent evocative force and a symbolic potential, used to depict a day shared among friends. The complexity of their interactions is explored between irony and the grotesque, through the protagonists’ gestures and attractions, while evoking rites of initiation that mark the passage into adulthood.

DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
Sasso, carta, forbici is a surreal voyage, a flow of unconscious sensations and emotions unfolding without a plot. The film’s language mirrors the logic of dreams, where every gesture contains a multiplicity of possible meanings.
The decisive moments are never directly revealed: the spectator encounters only a “before” and an “after”, and must imagine the events that connect them – their how and their why. The active role of the audience is at the core of my artistic vision and has always informed my practice. The film creates ambiguous atmospheres laden with meaning, like dreams themselves, whose interpretation remains intimate, subjective and personal.
