The incredible life story of Lorenzo Cherubini, stage name Jovanotti: the songs, the success, the travel, the bike, from the small local radio to crowds of fans. But Lorenzo doesn’t stop there, he is more than that. He journeys through what we know and arrives at a place more intimate, secret, surprising. An authentic and personal story, that becomes a universal reflection on the ability to continue to dream, to love and to grow, at any age. And so the artist we all know becomes the person that very few have truly encountered.

Director's Statement

Our film arises from a conviction: there is no “behind” Jovanotti. The child, the artist who composes and the singer in front of the crowds are all the same person. We tried to get so close as to make the movement that brings them together visible: to travel across memory and transform into a shared experience.
