A doctor creates an elixir of life for working-class women, hoping they'll be reinvigorated to revolt against the capitalists. But when the workers, fed up with their grueling lives, refuse to buy his potion, the doctor realizes they need a different kind of elixir -- THE ELIXIR OF LOVE. Inspired by the famous comic opera by Gaetano Donizetti.
