At an Italian high school, bullying and cyberbullying shape the lives of a group of teenagers, amid isolation, humiliation and secrets they struggle to share with adults. After a student makes a desperate suicide attempt, police commissioner Juan Vazquez enters the school undercover as teacher Giovanni Ligabue to uncover what is happening. His investigation reaches far beyond the classroom, exposing manipulation, drugs, crime and failures of institutional responsibility. Meanwhile, the students must confront their vulnerabilities and choose whether to remain silent or find friendship, solidarity and the courage to stand up for themselves and others.

DIRECTOR’S NOTES:
I conceived and wrote STELLE to give a voice to those affected by bullying and to young people who too often feel unheard. I did not want to make an instructional film, but a cinematic story driven by emotion, suspense and mystery. This social thriller brings together the worlds of teenagers and adults, exploring how silence, judgment and individual choices can shape someone else’s life. Music, the performances of young actors and complex adult characters form a story in which healing is not an easy promise, but a possibility built together. My hope is that, when the final credits roll, teenagers, parents and teachers will feel encouraged to talk and truly listen to one another.
