Anna leaves Ruggero because he is too short. He tries to win her back but he has to contend with the hostility of her family. Her mother refuses to put his calls through with the excuse that "Anna is sleeping" and Riccio, Anna's hooligan brother who suffers from a split personality - and both of him go under the name of Riccio. Ruggero has the support (if that is the correct term) of Anna's father, a food fanatic who adores raw meat and Michele, a rather blatent homosexual and pusher of a drug called Monaco 2 that gives whoever takes it the courage of a Lion and the lucidity of Mazinga.
