Paolo, Fabio and Ciro are three carabinieri who manage to mess up a delicate police operation while chasing a petty thief. As a punishment they are all sacked and find they have joined the ranks of the unemployed. They are all professionals but the openings available to them are few and far between so they decide to become bodyguards because that is a lifestyle that will give them access to fancy cars, beautiful women and VIPs to protect. They present themselves at a famous protection agency in Rome and are given an entrance exam. Fabio is charged with looking after Victoria Silverstedt who leads the poor man a merry dance up and down the length of Italy as she checks up on her fiancée’s activities. Paolo must protect Anna Falchi during a photo shoot for a sexy calendar but ends up being the model’s dog sitter. Ciro becomes Luca Laurenti’s bodyguard. The three exams finish in the worst possible way and the three are thrown out of the agency. They do not give up and decide to give it another try on their own. Romolo, a warehouse supervisor who has always dreamed of being a bodyguard, joins them. The bodyguards get a job protecting a health centre frequented by VIPs like Megan Gale and Massimo Giletti. Suffice it to say the “bodyguards” manage to get themselves fired yet again but the head of the protection agency comes to hear of their plight and gives them another chance. What the four don’t know is they are being set up to lure in a dangerous maniac who is stalking Cindy Crawford...
