A story of love and friendship, set in a multi-racial neighbourhood of a north Italian town. Salvo and Dante were childhood friends until Nanà, Dante's fiancée falls for Salvo and they marry. Dante is heartbroken and leaves his home town to become a petty criminal. Salvo becomes a corrupt cop. Ten years go by and Dante returns to take his revenge. He finds that Salvo is a shadow of the man he once was and Nanà has become a drug addict. Dante meets Luna, a young Slav woman, with a wonderful character who gradually infuses Dante with her energy and positive thinking to the point that he is no longer angry at Salvo. Unfortunately, fate reserves a very different and infinitely sadder ending for these people. In the end, Luna is the only one to save herself, but she is a very different person from the one she was.
