Nicola, Angelo and Ennio, in their thirties, share an apartment together in Rome. Nicola, ardent fan of the Genoa soccer team, spends most of his time in front of the tv, watching a taped match of his team's European debut : Genoa-Oviedo in 1991. But the long awaited victory goal is never seen, since it gets blacked out by an electrical short during taping. Ennio, the owner of the apartment, spends his time taking care of the management-upkeep of the place. He is an obsessive person and since he doesn't really have a real job, is constantly interfering in the lives of the others, causing more damage than good. Angelo, the last one to arrive, is a quiet and serious man, who divides his time between his studies and his girlfriend Valentina. A little at a time, he will get lost in same home life routine as his flatmates. He will start neglecting his studies and his girlfriend.
Their days will be marked by a strange aphasia, without causing them to have any concerns about the future....
