The day after Giovanni Agnelli’s death, a multitude of Turin citizens walked up the flights of the old Lingotto factory, as if in a kind of via crucis, to honour the body exposed in the funeral chamber set up in the entrance of the picture gallery named after Giovanni and Marella Agnelli, which rises like a cenotaph on the testing track of Lingotto.
