The first months of 2003: Pietro is an attractive forty five year old architect, after being married to Roberta for twenty years, realises he is unsatisfied with his emotional and professional life. He is also poltically frustrated, feeling abandoned by a left wing he considers too weak and confused.
Putting aside his once idealistic notions he decides to climb the ladder of success.
