Daimon is a sort of screenplay filmed for an imaginary and visionary biography of Georges Bataille. Daimon is an invitation to open your eyes so wide that you feel sick, and take a look at eroticism in a serious, tragic manner. Eros is the Daimon par excellence but the origin of the term evokes “Il laceratore,” he who tears and divides. The leit motiv of Daimon is tension, an unsolvable conflict inherent in human nature, source of glory and ecstasy, laughter and tears. Eroticism, sacrifice, joy, horror and death are the elements that mark the sequences of Daimon.
