Solange is a twenty-year-old professional French dancer when she is called by an Italian company for a show. The Dance Macabre will be staged and Solange will play “The Death”. That’s paradoxical because she has just lost her brother Mathieu. She always wears a medallion around her neck. It's the only thing that keeps her tied to him. It's when she loses the medallion that Solange begins to live in two dimensions: the world of the living, of which she doesn't feel a part because she's tied to memories, and the world of the dead, a dimension she can't and shouldn't cross. When she meets Hermes, the ferryman of souls, she'll be forced to confront grief and decide whether to continue carrying this burden or return to living.
