A story told about the Italy of today, from north to south, suffering from a great economic crisis and disadvantages in International competitiveness. A trip through Sicily's industrial towns, starting from Gela and Termini Imerese and on to Melfi, known for the FIAT and development of new designs in agriculture and continuing on to Prato, struggling with the complex evoultion of Chinese immigrants and Porto Marghera, occupied with reorganizing the foundations of their chemical structures. The story of a country in distress but whose outlook is changing : Italy reorganizes itself, hoping to find a new awareness.
