Francesca and Ugo have been married for ten years. They live in Rome and have two children. Ugo is a thirty-five year-old architect whose goal is to become a partner at the important firm where he works. Francesca, also thirty-five, is co-owner of a bizarre plant nursery in the heart of the Trastevere neighbourhood. She also restores small gardens, terraces and collections of hanging plants.
