Comics Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo offer a surreal take on the day-to-day doings of oddball examples of the “human species”, showing that an understanding of the world lies within our grasp. The four episodes of the film are connected by the bizarre teachings of Master Tsu’ Nam. In the first story, the trio prepares to leave on summer vacation; in the second, they take part in the embarrassingly earnest life of an up-to-date church and its pastor; in the third, they become living portraits in a gallery holding the works of renowned artists; in the final story, two men are caught up in their friend’s yearning to become a father.
