U Stisso Sangu (litteraly The Same Blood) is a collection of stories about immigrants landed on the south-east coasts of Sicily. The documentary highlights the extreme hardships faced by immigrants during the perilous journey across the sea to reach the island, and at the same time captures the experiences and stories of many people struggling every day for survival in the new environment, as well as the grief of countless immigrants disappeared alongshore.
