Torino, 1977. The multinational Singer is closing its factory at Leinì, leaving over two thousand workers unemployed. The factory workers decide to organize a protest. One of the participants is Maddalena, who on the morning of October 1ST conducts the last transmission of Radio Singer, one of the first free radio stations. At the same moment, a crowd of demonstrators heads in the direction of the Palazzo Nuovo university building. Everything happens in just a few hours. At 1:10 p.m. the radio transmission is over for good and the march has ended. But Molotov cocktails were thrown against the “Angelo Azzurro” and a young man who was inside the building by chance was severely burned.
