The MADRE, museum of contemporary arts, is located along one of the narrow alleys of Naples. Art restorer Sara and Roberto, smart and handsome, are attracted to each other, but not without misunderstandings. Roberto’s brother Armandino has a good nose for business and offers his services as an intermediary for cash. Installations by modern artists provide the backdrop for Sara and Roberto’s games of love. Armandino directs the pair of lovers like a latter day Puck, fuelling their love and fattening his wallet.
