A few kilometers from downtown Torino, there is an area where rivers flow together; here, the fog dominates the landscape and the unpaved streets lose their form, eaten away by the damp that rises from the river. This area is inhabited by men and women like Angelo, Gerardo and other farmers who for years have cultivated this land and now claim ownership over it; others like Roky, Darius and Jasmina, who live together with five hundred other people in a camp on the banks of the river; Frida, who comes here in search of heroin; or Reno, who has recently lost both his home and his job.
