The week before the wedding of Paolo and Margherita. Paolo is forty years old, lives in Milan, has a job he likes and a friend named Ivan, who will also his wedding's witness. Margherita has thirty years, is a veterinary and is born in a middle-class family living in an austere eccentrically villa on the Lake of Como. Perhaps because of the awe that has on the parents of Margherita, and probably also for the excitement of the upcoming wedding, since the beginning of the week Paolo enters into a vortex of tragicomic events. All the things he does to please the parents of Margherita, they turn into disasters that put in danger the marriage.
