The film is the day-by-day chronicle of the month-long occupation of the Palermo
city hall by eighteen families of homeless citizens.
While recording in real-time the unprecedented events that trouble from inside the everyday life of the city’s major public institution, the camera dresses the vivid and intimate portraits of a number of its protagonists and throws a disturbing light on the controversial and often ambiguous relations between the citizens and their elected representatives.
