June 1981. In Vermicino, just outside Rome, a boy of six years slips in an artesian well. His name is Alfredo Rampi. Italy follows live on TV the entire operations rescue: an endless. 54 hours after the accident, the volunteer Angelo Licheri goes down in that
terrible gut. He finds Alfredino still alive but the last attempt to bring the surface will fail.
In the 30 th anniversary of the tragedy, Angelo meets the protagonists of the rescue and together they reconstruct what happened in those tragic hours.
