Franco loads up his car with cheese and leaves Sardinia. Feeling abandoned, he wants to find his family. His wife and daughter, exasperated with his uncurbed dependence upon slot machines, left him, trying to start a new life. This docufilm is a descent into the dark and complicated mechanisms of gambling; it’s the story of a lonely man with his money-eating-machines obsession.
