Giulio decides to leave his small village in Maremma (Tuscany), for London, with Onorio’s, childish and clumsy grandfather, blessing. Giulio’s mother Brunella is heart broken, she bravely grew her sons all by herself after her husband Ezio abandoned them because of Alberto, Giulio’s brother.
Affected by Down syndrome, Alberto wants to emulate his successful brother, to feel the wind in his hair too, letting go of the breaks, tasting victory like his brother who won on his bycicle race after race on the tough Maremma’s hills. Two different routes, one bathed by the Maremma’s sun, the other alluring with success of the London skyline Two very different ways with one great life lesson in common: it's the heart that always wins.
