Mondo Delirium is the third movie of the “Delirium” Cycle, where Sciolè makes experimental movies meet with Italian b-movies. The dominating emotion is delirium. The structure of the movie is based on a montage that obsessively uses thousands of breaks and no fading. The rendering is strange, disturbing, festering, visionary. Symbology, ritual and the sublime magnify the ill-fated atmosphere of the movie. The theme of this third work is the wickedness of man, he’s useless, cruel for pleasure (not because of a need, as it happens in the animal kingdom). The reference to the Mondo Movie on the title is, in fact, in reverse. According to the reference to a certain Cinema Bis and because of an extreme use of style-form of Sciolè/Teatro Ateo, it is encoded as Sciolèxploitation.
