Lisa (Marta Ferrari) is married to Carlo (Augusto Cortesi) a rich and influent plastic surgeon who is violent and disrespectful towards her. One day she receives a call from John (Dante Fusi) who once was her piano teacher when she was a kid. After many years, Lisa and John meet again and she receives her mother's memoirs written in a diary that John gives her.
When Lisa starts reading this diary she discovers important details of her mother's life as Camelia, one of the most famous opera singers in Milan, including the secrets behind her mysterious death. This discovery leads Lisa to a complete change in her life and, thanks to John's support, she will redeem herself and the case is finally solved.
