Franco Lucci is an entrepreneur on the verge of bankruptcy. There is only one slim chance to save his company and it all depends on getting a big public contract. This could be made possible with the influence of an important Minister whom he has befriended and has decided to invite to dinner. Franco, with the support of his brother-in-law and business partner, Michele, organizes the perfect evening: he offers the Minister a generous bribe and then even invites a girl who will go to bed with the politician. All of this goes on right in front of Franco’s wife, Rita. She wants to help her husband in his last desperate attempt to win this contract worth millions and save their privileged lifestyle.
