The film tells the story of Angelo, one of the many fathers who in recent years have seen their children flee the country in search of a better future. Italy seems not a country for young people: an entire district of the city decides to make a desperate enterprise: kidnap and bring back to Italy the "the best children ", whose talent and qualifications would reboot the country. Kidnap one to attract one thousand. Angelo joins the organizers and leaves for Germany, to the most unexpected journey of his life.
