Filippo is a spoiled boy scout. His scoutmaster entrusts him the mission of filling all the flasks at the fountain deep in the woods. There, he will encounter Rodolfo, a desperate fisherman in need of water for his car. The two will start a quarrel over the fountain, with an explosive ending.
DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
The story we want to tell you is intended for both children and adults, and starts right from this question: what would you be willing to do for the last drop of water?
The Stern Review says that by 2050 the amount of water per person on the planet will be halved. The two main characters Rodolfo and Filippo are dealing with this problem. The first is an old, submissive and desperate man, and the second is a fiercely cynical boy. They represent the archetypes of two generations, facing each other in a dialectic duel that leads to an actual conflict . They want to conquer something that is normally taken for granted, but which is suddenly in short supply: water. So they compete for the precedence on the only source within kilometers, in a climax of misbehavior and abuse of power.
