In a future in which the society is completely digitized, power is in the hands of a brilliant but heartless leader who has managed to bring most of mankind under
his control. A group of rebels (called ‘the foolish’) tries to oppose his rule.
Their own leader Leonardo lands in prison, where, when he isn’t being questioned by the police, he starts to create his own history of mathematics. Euclid, Archimede, Pythagoras, Descartes and Fibonacci all come to life, revealing the myriad connections between art and mathematics.
