This film portaits three italian muslim women, born and raised in Italy. They are part of the so called 2nd generation immigrants. They choose to wear the hijab. Sumaya, Batul and Takoua, talk about freedoms, human rights and equal opportunities, as their main life topics because these women fight for it and what they aim at it everyday. The film discovers who these women are … “ bridges that can bridge the gap in between the East and the West Islam and the Western Mind ..” Through the women voices we get clear portaits of who they are and an original point view of the situations in their country of origin: Siria, Tunisia and the meaning of the Arab Springs for young european muslims, hanging between their culture of origin and the one of birth.
