In the darkness of Florence a mysterious killer has just raped and killed a child. The police suspects that the killer is Sen Palminiello and Sig. Gaeta convinces his son Richard, a young lawyer, to defend him. Investigating on this case, Richard is working between murders and clues in costant contradiction. The meeting with the beautiful reporter Giulia and also the arrival of some mysterious letters confuse him more and more. As Richard has grown up in a family without moral values, in this delicate moment he is fighting to try to understand in which way he should find his own way out and carry on his life.
