On the occasion of the 70. Festival de Cannes (May 17^th-28^th, 2016),  Istituto Luce  Cinecittà - Filmitalia is organizing the Italian selections to be held at our offices in Rome.

GENERAL RULE VALID FOR ALL SECTIONS:
Only films that meet the following conditions will be considered for the selections:
· Films that have been produced during the twelve months preceding the Festival;
· Films that have not been released anywhere other than their country of origin;
· Films that have not been presented at any other international motion picture event;
· All films must have English or French subtitles.

SPECIFIC RULES FOR EACH SECTION:

Competition, Out of Competition, Un Certain Regard:
To admit a title it’s mandatory to do the online-submission within March 11th and send a dvd to Paris within March 10^th. >Click here< for the entry form and postal address.
For the sections overseen by Lorenzo Codelli, who will be in Rome from March 13th to 17th, films must be also delivered to our offices (address below) within March 10^th.

Semaine de la Critique:
For Semaine de la Critique (open only to first and second features) the selections in Rome will be held from March 13^th through the 17^th, when selection Committee member Olivier Pélisson will be in Rome.
It will not be necessary for this first round of selections to fill out the submission forms and pay the entry fee.
For the section Semaine de la Critique films must be delivered only to our offices (address below) within March 9^th.

Quinzaine des Réalisateurs:
Quinzaine des Réalisateurs’s General Delegate Edouard Waintrop and Secretary General Christophe Leparc will be in Rome to select Italian films from March 28^th through the 31^st.
It will not be necessary for this first round of selections to fill out the submission forms and pay the entry fee.
For the section Quinzaine films must be delivered only to our offices (address below) within March 23rd.
