In Rome Senior Programmer John Nein

Sundance: deadline for submissions September 18th

Like every year, we are coordinating the selections for Italian films at the 33rd edition of the Sundance Film Festival (January 18-28, 2018).
Sundance Senior Programmer, John Nein, will be in Rome to screen the Italian films at our offices here in Rome from October 2 to 4, 2017.
Please, find the following rules & regulations:
- Section World Cinema Competition: (dramatic and documentary) the films must be International Premieres, must not have participated in any public or festival screenings outside Italy (therefore Venice, Rome and Turin festivals are allowed).
The run time cannot be less than 50 minutes.
- Section Spotlight and Premieres: by Invitation only.
- For the other sections (Park City at Midnight, New frontier, Sundance Kids) please refer to full Regulations.
We would like to inform you that only the films and documentaries submitted in the section World Cinema Competition through our company, will be exempt from the submission fee. In order to receive the fee waiver code, you must send a request by email at filmitali@cinecittaluce.it no later than September 18, 2017 specifying the title, the director and if it is a film or a documentary.
We also kindly ask you to send a dvd/Blu-ray with English subtitles to our office by and no later than September 18, 2017:
Istituto Luce Cinecittà – Filmitalia, Via Tuscolana 1055, 00173 Rome (Italy).
